FX EXTENSION is designed for the Sony FX3 and Sony FX30. It mounts directly to these bodies to create a cohesive rear core for your rig—built around real-world setups like monitor + wireless video or timecode—while keeping the camera’s workflow intact.

Does it work with the XLR top handle?

Yes — FX EXTENSION is fully compatible with the Sony XLR top handle. You can keep the handle installed while using the system. The design maintains clear access to ports and controls, so your audio workflow and ergonomics stay untouched.
